Quality assurance by testing pipes, fittings and components in contact with drinking water

As an accredited testing and inspection body of the ÖVGW as well as for the DVGW, we accompany you in the processing of approvals for newly developed products and offer support as an external monitoring body in the implementation of your quality management. We test pipes, fittings or components according to the catalog of requirements and carry out inspections.

As a one-stop store in terms of approval and certification of water treatment products and equipment, we offer not only product testing but also drinking water approval testing for the materials used. Your advantage: With the OFI you have one contact partner from product development to the finished certified product!

Depending on the catalog of requirements, we test pipes, fittings or components in contact with drinking water at OFI and carry out audits as an accredited inspection body for ÖVGW as well as for DVGW. We test and develop disinfection plants and other equipment for physical or chemical water treatment. By developing new products and regularly testing and inspecting existing products, we offer you the quality assurance that helps determine a product’s success.

In addition to tests for drinking water applications, we also offer tests outside the accredited range. We conduct contract research and advise industrial customers on the development and optimization of their products.
